Delete your account and data

You can delete your Passn account at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. This page is public on purpose: you can read it without an account, and without signing back in.

In the app (fastest)

Settings → Delete account. You confirm once, and deletion starts immediately. No email, no waiting for us.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to privacy@passn.app from the address on the account. We verify ownership before deleting anything, then confirm when it is done.

A 14-day grace period

Deletion is reversible for 14 days: sign back in and it is cancelled. During the grace period your profile is hidden from discovery and nobody can reach you.

Then the data goes

After 14 days the account, profile, photos, messages, likes, crossings and location samples are erased from the live systems, and from backups as those rotate.

What we must keep

A narrow set of records survives, each with its own limit — for example moderation records of a ban, and transaction records we are required to retain for tax and accounting. The exact list and periods are in the deletion policy.

Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Passn Plus subscription, because Apple — not Passn — bills it. Cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions before you delete, or it keeps renewing. See the subscription terms.
